In compliance with legal provisions of UAE, KIZAD License Types are:
Industrial License -

for import of raw materials, manufacturing, processing, assembling, packaging and export of intermediate and / or finished products and such other industrial activities as per the Industrial License category list.

Trading or General Trading License –

For trading activities that include import, export, distribution, stocking, warehousing of products and items specified on the license and such other trading activities as are published in the category list.

Service License –

For activities such as management and economic consulting services, marketing services, logistical support services such as cargo and freight forwarding, restaurants, retail food outlets, catering services, travel agencies etc as published in the category list.

All of these license types are issued to operate a business with Khalifa Port FTZ in accordance with the Government Regulations subject to fulfilment of all procedural requirements.

Company Legal Type for Business Establishments:
Limited Liability Company (LLC) –

Establish an LLC with a minimum paid-up capital of AED 150,000 or such higher paid-up capital based on the business activity as prescribed. It can be owned by an Individual or Corporate or Individual and Corporate.

Branch Company –

Existing registered company with valid license outside Khalifa Port FTZ can establish a branch company for business operations with the activities of its parent company. It can be registered as a branch of UAE Company or a branch of Foreign Company.

KIZAD offers prompt process at every stage for setting up a business, including the registration and licensing, with a streamlined and efficient procedures ensuring fast issuance of licenses on submission of completed application, payment and relevant documentation.
