This is a 100% government owned free zone established under law no.16 of 2005 of Government of Dubai. Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) aims to facilitate and promote modern technology-based industries for supporting the growing demand for business expansions. This is a technology park with a full range of incentives and advantages for the companies operating within the free zone as well as facilitate an integrated community for living and working.

Dubai Silicon Oasis Company & License Types.

Businesses looking forward to set up within Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) has options from three types of licenses based on the operational requirements.

Branch – Any firms within UAE of abroad can register as Branch and conduct business similar to the parent company. There is no minimum capital requirement here.

Free Zone Establishment (FZE) – A legal entity registered or incorporated as a single Shareholder either as an individual or a non-individual or corporate.

Free Zone Company (FZCO) – A legal entity registered or incorporated with minimum of two Shareholders either as an individual or non-individual.

DED Registered Companies – Already established companies with Dubai Economic Department (DED) can operate in The Administrative Zone of DSO, need to apply for a Business Operation Permit.
